Over the last few weeks, we’ve had the pleasure of featuring some of our favorite New Orleanians sharing their #SpringtimeIntheNOLA things. From the Office of Black Catholic Ministries’ Dr. Ansel Augustine to WGNO’s Kenny Lopez to Tales of the Cocktail’s Ann Tuennerman to burlesque’s Trixie Minx, you should now have a pretty good idea of what you should be doing during the spring in New Orleans!

Office of Black Catholic Ministries’ Dr. Ansel Augustine, WGNO’s Kenny Lopez, and Tales of the Cocktail’s Ann Tuennerman sure know how to enjoy #SpringtimeIntheNOLA!

Up next, we got Miss Burlesque herself, the fabulous Trixie Minx as our latest #SpringtimeIntheNOLA feature!

When we asked Trixie what came to mind when she thought of spring in New Orleans, she didn’t hesitate with her answer…the Chris Owens Easter Parade!

Dr. Ansel Augustine and Kenny Lopez have given us their favorite springtime things in the last two weeks.

This week, Ann Tuennerman, founder of Tales of the Cocktail, is up for the challenge!

Three things that come to mind when mentioning spring to Ann? “Crawfish, of course. Festivals, of course. And al fresco as my husband to loves to eat and sip drinks outside with our dogs nearby,” said Ann.

Earlier this week, Dr. Ansel Augustine of the Office of Black Catholic Ministries gave us the lowdown on his favorite springtime NOLA things!

Now, it’s time for Kenny Lopez, reporter for WGNO-TV’s “News with a Twist,” to explain exactly what #SpringtimeIntheNOLA means to him!

Aside from Mardi Gras, spring has got to be the favorite season for New Orleanians. The weather’s kind of perfect, there are festivals galore, and it just feels damn good.

So what’s a New Orleanian to do with all this? Enjoy, of course!

For Dr. Ansel Augustine, Director of the Office of Black Catholic Ministries for the Archdiocese of New Orleans, spring is all about “food, fun, and…food!” he smiled. “I’m a #fatboy from the 6th Ward, so I really like food!”
