Young entrepreneurs will be out in full effect Saturday, May 6 for the annual Lemonade Day Louisiana, showcasing their best lemonade skills and putting their entrepreneurial knowledge to work. From choosing the best location to creating a budget for materials and supplies, Lemonade Day gives young entrepreneurs their first lesson into the ins and out of running a small business.

“Lemonade Day Louisiana is a free, community-wide program that fosters entrepreneurship and character development among Louisiana’s youth ages 4-12 by supporting them in establishing and operating their lemonade businesses,” explained Malana M. Joseph Mitchell, Director of Public Relations for the Spears Group. “Essentially, we are opening up 25,000 new businesses on Lemonade Day.”

Dr. Ansel Augustine and Kenny Lopez have given us their favorite springtime things in the last two weeks.

This week, Ann Tuennerman, founder of Tales of the Cocktail, is up for the challenge!

Three things that come to mind when mentioning spring to Ann? “Crawfish, of course. Festivals, of course. And al fresco as my husband to loves to eat and sip drinks outside with our dogs nearby,” said Ann.
