InspireNOLA to honor five New Orleanians for outstanding leadership at ‘Reaching New Heights Gala,’ Oct. 20

Written by  InspireNOLA
InspireNOLA is pleased to present its second annual fundraising gala Reaching New Heights on Thursday, October 20 at Alice M. Harte Charter School (5300 Berkley Dr.) from 6:30pm-9:30pm.

Every year, InspireNOLA honors members of the community for going above and beyond with regards to service for others. The 2016 Inspiration Award honorees are: Andrea Chen, Executive Director of Propeller; Kenneth Polite, U. S. Attorney; Lloyd Dennis, Executive Director of the Silverback Society; Alon Shaya, Executive Chef and Partner of Domenica, Pizza Domenica and Shaya; and Karen Carter Peterson, Louisiana State Senator.
The gala will include food from several local restaurants, cocktails, live entertainment from Shamarr Allen and T-Ray the Violinist, and a silent auction with over $10,000 in goods.

The host for this incredible event is none other than WWLTV News Anchor Sheba Turk.

The proceeds from this gala will support much-needed student programming at Edna Karr High School, Alice Harte Charter School, and Andrew Wilson Charter School.

Tickets are $50 but we are pleased to offer a discounted ticket of $40 to all young professionals (40 years old and younger) and can be purchased at www.inspirenolacharterschools.org.
