Dazzling New Orleans Holiday Lights

French Market’s Annual Tree Lighting (November 19, 2015 | 5:00pm-6:00pm) :: There are festive holiday activities throughout the day at the French Market. Enjoy shopping, holiday decorations, costumed characters and strolling carolers. At 5:45pm, the countdown to the lighting of the 27 foot tree begins, with the lighting happening at 6:00pm sharp. Canal Street Lighting (November 24 | 5:30pm) :: Watch as Canal Street lights up with millions of twinkling lights for the holiday season. This event takes place in front of the Crown Plaza Hotel. After the lights turn on, stop by the hotel’s Grand Ballroom to decorate a cookie, sip cocoa, and meet enta. Also if you bring an unwrapped present for donation, you’ll receive a free picture with Santa. Cookies and cocoa from 5:00 – 7:00pm.
