Written by  Winter Circle Productions
Winter Circle Productions, BASSIK, and Republic are proud to announce a massive New Year’s Eve Celebration on Wednesday, December 31 (doors open at 9:00pm) at Republic New Orleans with electronic superstars The Glitch Mob, with support from DJ Craze and New Orleans’ own DXXXY! After slaying festivals and selling out massive venues worldwide, The Glitch Mob make a rare stop at Republic for an intimate in-your-face New Year's Eve celebration featuring the biggest & baddest light and video show the venue has ever seen.
What a year 2014 has already been for electronic-rock super group The Glitch Mob. Their 2014 sophomore LP release Love Death Immortality debuted at #13 on Billboard's Top 200 Chart, was named #1 Independent Album, #1 Dance/Electronic Album, and #4 Digital Album on the Billboard Charts, and has sold over 60,000 copies to date. Garnishing the attention of prestigious outlets worldwide LDI was described as "robust" and "dynamic" by the Washington Post and "monumentally gleaming" by SPIN.

After beginning their Spring 2014 Tour with an epic performance at New Orleans’ own BUKU Music + Art Project, The Glitch Mob went on to sell-out shows worldwide this spring, and held top-billing slots at Ultra Music Festival and at both weekends of Coachella where Rolling Stone deemed them one of the 50 best things they saw calling to attention their "relentless beat barrages" and "face melting, arena-ready visuals" and the LA Times named them one of the top 10 must-see acts highlighting their "devotion to muscular synthetic beats" and "black Sabbath-like love of mesmerizing bass lines".
