It's time to pop the cork at Propeller’s ‘Pop Benefit,’ May 22

Written by  Propeller
What was once the “Propeller Gala,” is now “Propeller Pop!”

On Thursday, May 22, we take an evening to celebrate the graduation of Propeller’s third class of Accelerator Fellows, who have applied their genius, passion and creativity to some of New Orleans’ biggest challenges.

Pop on over to Propeller to honor the dedication and success of the 2013-2014 Accelerator class.

The evening also features local food from pop-up chefs, drinks and cocktails from pop-up bars, pop-themed activities, pop-ular music and a silent auction. Proceeds help support the 2014-2015 Accelerator and Alumni programming. Tickets are $80 for Top Pop Hour for Investors from 6:00pm-7:00pm; $35 in advance/$40 at the door for Propeller Pop from 7:00pm-10:30pm.

Here's a sneak peak from our 2013-2014 Accelerator Fellows:

Griffin Law Group has won over $300,000 in social security benefits to ensure children with disabilities receive the services they need to thrive.

TrueSchool has been awarded major contracts from Stanford University, Chicago Public Education Fund, and Jefferson Parish Schools to use design thinking to reach over 200 teachers through its innovative studios, which will impact over 6,000 students.

Where Y'Art was recently featured on the cover of New Orleans Living magazine. Six weeks post-launch, they facilitated $10,000 in sales for local artists.
