Tulane University hosts ‘Crawfest’ Saturday, April 5

Crawfest is an annual student-run music, food, and arts festival on Tulane’s uptown campus. Up to 12,000 students and community members enjoy live music, 20,000 pounds of boiled crawfish, and 25+ local vendors. This year’s festival will be held on Saturday, April 5 from 11:00am - 7:00pm, with awesome music, unlimited crawfish, unlimited drinks (water + sodas), and access to local food and art vendors!


The 2014 Crawfest music schedule:

11:00am - 11:30am Sexual Thunder!

11:30pm - 12:15pm Original Pinnettes Brass Band

12:30pm - 1:15pm Flow Tribe

1:15pm - 2:00pm Ballyhoo!

2:15pm - 3:00pm Wild Child

3:15pm - 4:15pm The Main Squeeze

4:30pm - 5:30pm Marco Benevento

5:30pm - 7:00pm Lettuce


***Performances by the Central City Dance Team (2:00pm) & The 610 Stompers (4:15pm).


Crawfest 2014 will host the following food vendors: Dat Dog, Woody’s Fish Tacos, Fat Falafel, Frencheeze, Empanada Intifada, Food Drunk, Boucherie, Kajun Kettle Foods, Creole Cupcakes, Plum St. Snowballs, NOLA Smokehouse, and Chocolate Devil.


This year’s art/craft vendors include: Dirty Coast, Give Tanks, Back Bayou Vintage, Midnight Girl Designs, Love, Marigold, Purely Southern, NOLA Metal Design, Bijoutiere, Wish Dog, Skull Paradise, and DamnDog.


Tulane students are admitted for free; cost is $10 for the public at Tulane University's Uptown Campus (31 McAlister Drive - between Willow St. and Freret St.).
